[Case Study] Drone Industry Utilizing GNSS Antennas

We will introduce a case where measurements of the reception status were conducted for the aircraft that stopped receiving signals, confirming that there was an issue with the antenna.

We will introduce a case study of solving issues in the drone industry using GNSS antennas. Our investigation revealed that there were problems with both the performance of the GPS antenna being used and its installation position. Therefore, we proposed a suitable antenna and installation position, which improved reception. 【Case Study】 ■Issue - Some drones suddenly lose GPS reception during operation, causing operational disruptions. ■Proposal - Proposed a suitable antenna and installation position to improve reception. - Conducted measurements of the reception performance of the antenna itself. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

New release of QZSS L6 compatible GNSS antenna, magnet type.

This single unit can support all GNSS frequencies. Since it is a magnet type, installation becomes easier than the conventional screw mount.

Supports a wide range of frequencies with an all-band GNSS antenna. Being a magnetic type, it is easy to install and move. It is compatible with L6 products, ensuring high accuracy. With an IP67 waterproof rating, it can be used outdoors with peace of mind. As the number of Michibiki satellites increases in the future, it will be possible to calculate position information using only geostationary satellites. Since four or more satellites are required for satellite positioning, an environment for continuous positioning will be established as the number of satellites increases in the future.

GNSS + AR System [Trimble SiteVision]

Visualizing the future of the site! Outdoor high-precision augmented reality system!

"Trimble SiteVision," built with Trimble's high-performance GNSS antenna and ARCore technology, is the world's first outdoor high-precision mixed reality system. Based on GNSS location data, it allows you to visually confirm design spaces overlaid on real-world environments. There is no need to imagine three-dimensional designs from various drawings and topographic maps. ■ 2D and 3D data can be loaded from the cloud, accurately overlaying the augmented world with the real world, and the screen can be customized with cross-sectional views, pit views, transparency, distance sliders (with full layer support), and more. ■ Point cloud measurements can also be performed using the LiDAR functionality on iPad Pro/iPhone Pro. ■ You can easily verify planned roads, buildings, buried pipes, and structures that previously existed on-site. It also serves as a resource for on-site meetings and consensus building. ■ You can use other applications (such as Teams, ZOOM, etc.) to check the site conditions remotely.
